Are the San Diego Padres turning into the Portland Trail Blazers? Jake Peavy gets arrested for parking in the wrong place at the airport and now Marcus Giles has landed in some hot water for some behavior at the Chargers game this Sunday. The recently acquired second baseman certainly didn't waste any time ingratiating himself with the community. He and a friend got into a fight at the playoff game and Giles was "handcuffed, detained and escorted from Qualcomm Stadium," according to the San Diego Union-Tribune. Alright, so maybe they aren't turning into the Trail Blazers. The Padre crime spree looks a little bit more like a midlife crisis than true thug life but when Khalil Greene goes down for removing his mattress tags, well, don't say you weren't warned.
