Looks like Newsday got it right after all. The Rocket is back in Houston. He signed a pro-rated $22 million deal for the rest of the season but will first make starts in the minor leagues to round into big league form. His catcher for his first start, with Class A Lexington, KY, will likely be his son Koby, surely a reason for Clemens's decision to return for another go-round. He would then progress to make two more starts, one each at AA and AAA, before joining up with the Astros at the end of June. Houston beat St. Louis last night to move within six and a half games of the Central division leaders but with Clemens back in the fold you can bet the Cards don't feel quite as safe with their lead.
