Missouri's Feeling Fighting Abilities Nonexistent

REO Speedwagon began changing the face of American music while students at the University of Illinois so it's a bit uncertain as to how they became the official voice of Missouri baseball. But become it they have after yesterday's home opener at Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City. The 'Wagon sang the National Anthem, less than 24 hours after doing the same thing at Busch Stadium on Sunday night before the Mets and Cardinals renewed acquaintances.

According to the Kansas City Star, the Royals hope to bring the boys back for an aftergame concert later this summer where the unique fountains beyond centerfield can provide the perfect backdrop for the pop confectioners to belt out their hits. "Time For Me To Fly," for instance, can be dedicated to every Royal prospect with ability as they reach their free agent years while "Keep On Loving You" can be played while highlights from the 1985 World Series unfurl on the DiamondVision.

Good thing, then, for the Royals that the 'Wagon hasn't got any dates booked between May 16th, when they rock San Bernadino's county fair six ways from Sunday, and September 14th when they return to Missouri for a long awaited show at the Southeast Missouri Fair Arena Park. Buy tickets now or get them for free later!
