Artis Gilmore Has Cooler Hair Than You Do
First Fernando, then Vinny and now Artis Gilmore is making his way back to the court. The 7'0" brilliantly Afroed center led Jacksonville to the 1970 NCAA title game, played five years in the wonderfully coiffed ABA and 12 in the Association before retiring after the 1988 season at 39. He was a feared shotblocker and is the fifth leading rebounder in ABA/NBA history. He's 58 now and will play in the revived ABA for the Jacksonville Jam on Sunday in a game that will also feature a halftime ceremony honoring him. Among his teammates with the Jam - Anthony Lumpkin, Eddie Baker and TheAnthony Haymon. Yep, it's the TheAnthony Haymon! (ABA)

Zach Randolph didn't score 30 for the Blazers last night, maybe he was preoccupied because he just got sued for being involved in a sexual assault. (Hoops And Other Pop Culture)
